It's July 2021 by now. That's half a year gone, we're in the third quarter of the year. And everything remains the same (if not worst): we're still in a pandemic, CoVID is still here, we are not able to cross states, no dine in, preferably WFH.
This year's CNY was also spent at home with no where to go. We haven't seen WK and his family for over a year and that includes our grandparents as well.
At least we have each other at home. And everyone's safe.
We have another new family member! A baby girl!!!
She's a bit bigger now.
Speaking of Covid, my parents have completed their Sinovac vaccinations. While I've taken my first jab of AZ last month.
My reactions to the jab was apparent. I had fever and headache the next day and had to pop panadols to subside the fever. My arm was sore for a week!
I had ordered this Tiger Street Food beforehand to be enjoyed after my vaccination. But I didn't enjoyed it at all with being sick and all. I feel so sorry to the food. They deserved to be savoured better... ðŸ˜
My birthday was spent out as it was my dad's second vaccination appointment at 7:30pm.
I didn't manage to see this ice cream cake in person. The others had to video call me while I was waiting for dad while in the car and they sang happy birthday to me via video call. That's a first! Lol
Out of the many slices of cakes, this is my favourite - Apple Crumble Crepe Cake.
Overall that is the update so far...Let's hope the second half of the year will be much better.
