Day 4 - Dongdaemun

Forgot to post this yesterday. Lost the streak. Anyway, it was reunion day with Seon Young. (Reunited and it feels so good. Reunited coz we understood) We had breakfast and coffee together. She had work so we were on our own after that.

We headed to Dongdaemun after buying lots of things in Daiso near our place. (By the way, we stayed in Sinchon)

We bought toys and food at Dongdaemun. We then headed to under the bridge (cannot recall the name) to chill and makan.

In front of Doota, there is a tourist information counter which had a lucky draw box. I gotten myself a lovely clutch with toner, masks and a cute power bank. Mom apparently drew the big prize! However we would need to redeem it the next time we come before November as we had to reserve at least 10 days prior.

Then we adjourned to Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) for more photo taking. It is really beautiful there.

Day 3 - Suwon (Hwaseong Haenggung Palace)

After depositing our bags in the locker and buying our tickets to Seoul, we made our way to the Tourist information counter to find out more about where we should go.

As we had not much time left, we decided to visit Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. It is also where a food fair was happening next door at the parking lot. We grabbed something to eat before adjourning in the Palace. The Palace is the filming area for "Jewel of the Palace". There wasn't much visitors when we were there, so we could take as much time as we want to take pictures. I had to admit that we took a lot of nice pictures.

In the end, we cut the time too short and had barely managed to catch our train to Seoul. *phew*

Upon reaching Seoul, we got lost finding our Hostel. Luckily an Ajumma saw us and made us call the hostel. Lol.

It has been a tiring day for us because we practically lugged our luggages via the stairs. I had forgotten how much stairs there is in Seoul.

Day 3 - Busan -->Suwon

Goodbye Busan. On my departure, you decided to greet me with a nice big sunshine! It seems that you are happy that we left.

Nevermind, we shall meet again.

Onward to Suwon!

Day 2 - Busan

So in effort to make up for lost time for our Day 1, we went to many places as we could which our feet suffered from it.

Our first stop is Taejongdae. It is located at the South most end of the Yeongdo Coast. We travelled there by bus and managed to see most of the South of Busan. There, we had to hike the trail for almost 1 hour 45 minutes. It was raining / drizzling with cool air. It makes the hiking more bearable? Still it was an experience.

After that, we head on to Gukje Market and ter-stumble upon BIFF Square by accident. There were many Street food which we tried as much as both of us could. After that we went on to Jagalchi Market and had wanted to go Yeongdusan Park but didn't manage to find it. Also by then our feet hurts.

I die die also must go to Haeundae Beach coz it is famous and all. And it was such a weird feeling coz being at the beach when you are feeling cold. Just weird.

We then head back to Shinsagae for mom's fish cake which she loved. And I had my picture taken again with Joong Ki 오빠 coz yesterday's photo was blur.

Leaving Busan tomorrow. Was just beginning to really "see" this city...

Oh well, next time...

Day 1 - Busan

It has been raining non stop since we arrived this morning. (Sky, why you crying???!!!) Not just rain but with wind, it is so darn cold! Luckily we managed to get our room as soon as we checked in (at Bluepackers Hostel) so that we can rest a while.

As it rains there's basically not much to do but hang out at the department stores (Lotte and Shinsagae), shop and eat.

This trip started off with so much adjustments in between. Changing travel buddies and also includes some change of plans. But I'm determined (decided while up in the air) to make this trip memorable as possible. It will be very chill type with lots of rests in between (and toilet breaks).
