Kuantan 4D2N

Thanks to SY to let me tag along for the MUA work in Kuantan. She was the one who suggested this trip and I can't be happier to tag along as the main trip is to visit Yoyo and her family! I haven't been back in Kuantan since Yoyo's wedding.

We went down on a Friday and it was raining one section by one section of the road all the way to Kuantan. I did drive from KL to the Temerloh R&R while SY drove the rest. SY parked me in Kula Cakes in Kuantan while I wait for Yoyo and her family to come. We had dinner and adjourned back to her house. It was a warm up time for Charlotte and Carl but Carl was a really smiley baby! Charlotte warmed up after a while and was quite talkative. Likes to sing and read her books a trait You instilled in her.

The next day we left late as Gan was working half day and there were Gardener and cleaner who came by to do work. Then Gan came back to take over so that me and Yoyo can grab lunch while we chat. Yoyo brought me around and wanted to introduce me to Keropok Sagu but unable to find. It was raining heavily in the evening and we had Korean BBQ and was waiting for SY to come but she was unable to join us. We did however find her after her job and we returned home together.

Come Sunday after breakfast with the family, we left for SG. Lembing where Yoyo explained some of the history of the town and showed us some of the places. We had a tea session and proceeded to the mines museum. It is the original mine which was converted into a museum. Then we crossed the hanging bridge which is still used by the locals and had some snacks. In town, we took pictures around before going back to Yoyo's house. Then we had dinner with Yoyo's mum at the hotel before adjourning back home. It was rather late by the time we returned.

Today is our last day in Kuantan. The Gans left us their house keys as they had to leave early due to work. We left and passed back the keys to Gan while he brought us for brunch.

I drove from Kuantan to Bentong as SY really wanted to buy durians after seeing Sook Wai posting on FB on her buys in Bentong. Lol

SY then drove the way back from Bentong to KL.

Updates #October2017

Been MIA for a while. But I will frequently return to this space once in a while. In this case once in 2 months. Lol

To start off, after the BKK trip, it was little Kenrick's full moon! The familia got together (with WK) and some friends to have a little fullmoon party at home. Kenrick was soooo tiny then.

Shortly after that, it was mooncake festival. But we didn't really do much but light up a few candles and walked around with the lanterns...

I had a short trip with Mom & Dad (3D2N) to Kluang for a wedding and to meet old kawans. I finally got to meet my secondary friends in JB after not seeing each other for so long...

I also had a working trip to Yong Peng for one of our cooking events by Oriental Cuisine. It was nice to be working with colleagues on a different setting but I nearly lost my voice for talking so much!

Then came our MCIL Dinner. I felt that this dinner was not too bad although the location a bit far...we went bonkers with the photo booth tho...our theme was 民主风 so our department wore cheongsams. It felt like CNY! I bought an Oriental cape from Azorias and wore it with a fitting dress.

Then the next day (Deepavali) me and SF have a lunch date with YiYi Erin at Bow Wow Cafe. SF has been complaining for the longest time that he haven't been back to a dog cafe. So we brought him there. It's musch more spacious than The Hound and have more variety of dogs owners visiting.

The week after we went for Riuh in the city at APW Bangsar. I had always wanted to join and seeing for the month of October they have a kids workshop, VK signed up for the two kiddos while we have some fun time exploring the area. Not a bad space and lots of areas for your OOTDs and can instantly turn into a photography session. I missed the November session as I was in Kuantan. So am waiting for the December session which I think will have some elements of Christmas!
