Day 1 KUL > Langkawi > Koh Lipe

We flew in from Subang via Malindo and reached on time. It takes some time to travel in Langkawi, so we headed to Scarborough Fish & Chips- Tanjung Rhu for brunch. The view was beautiful!

Then we took a ferry to Koh Lipe, our main holiday destination. Langkawi was a passing stop sort of. Luckily the ferry ride was okay and I managed to sleep the entire journey.

Upon reaching the island, it had a relaxing and laid-back vibe to it. After getting our passport and pass through the immigration we headed to our acoomodation for the next 3 nights - The Breeze.

We were in love with our stay! After settling in, we want to catch the sunset at the Sunset Beach area and was directed to walk along the short cut area but we got kinda lost...
Luckily the resort staff saw us on his way to 7-11 and gave us a lift...to the bottom of Mountain Resort. It was a steep climb...
And had to pass by Mountain Resort to get to the beach.
But alas, there's was yoo cloudy that we didn't get to see a proper sunset. But with the technology nowadays, you can achieve that with some filter.
Tadah! The sunset mode from my camera. We then walked all the way to Sunrise Beach hoping to makan at a few places which was highly recommended but we can find them! Or that it doesn't look like it. We finally made our way to Walking Street and settled at Mama Papaya aftera lot of walking! And bring so hungry, we totally overordered for the both of us.
We had to tapau the leftover padthai and a bit of the basil stir fry chicken (but was attacked by the ants the next morning).

Then we headed to the massage parlour (our past experience told us that for good massages, look for aunties) and the massage did not disappoint!
